3. Application
- This product has the functions of emulsification, lubrication, hardening, etc., and is used as an emulsifier, lubricant, ointment base, etc. in the medicament. Commonly used in the manufacture of creams, ointments, suppositories, lotions, etc.
- This product is also a food additive for the manufacture of emulsified foods, cakes, etc.
- It is also widely used in the daily chemical industry for the manufacture of various daily chemical products such as creams, soaps, shampoos, waterproof papers and adhesives.
- Used in metal polishing, also used in the production of adhesives, dentures, polishes and waterproof paper.

Odorless with a mild sweet taste. Soluble in hot alcohol, chloroform, benzene and carbon disulfide; insoluble in water, petroleum ether and cold alcohol. Melting point: approximately 55 °C.
